WINDMASTER's Amazing
Launch
Muscat, December

in Oman will never be
the same again!
The Sultanate’s amazing
enthusiasm for football
is flourishing with
footballers revelling in
the latest incredible
addition to the sport,
with the launch of the
“Windmaster” inflatable
football field at Azaiba
beach. Last Thursday saw
crowds gather to be part
of this fantastic event
and to try out the new
fields.
The “Windmaster”, an
inflatable football
pitch, is catching on
internationally as one
of the greatest
additions to the sport
of football, with people
flocking to be part of
this dynamic and fun
element of the game. The
floodlit pitch can be
set up to be either sand
or water based, with the
latter offering a whole
new dimension to the art
of football!
In addition to the
excitement these fields
offer, the “Windmaster”
also offers incredible
safety, as it is
designed to create a
boundary for the ball to
stay contained on the
inflatable pitch.
Perhaps even more
paramount, Windmaster
has designed these
fields to prevent our
youth playing football
on the streets and
public roads in Oman.
The company will be
setting up fields in
several areas including
3 in Azaiba, 2 near the
Grand Hyatt Muscat and 1
at Al Sawadi Beach
Resort. All players are
requested to play
without shoes and for
the water based fields,
to play without shirts.
Windmaster has stated
this requirement as an
integral part of its
safety protocols.

the public has for the
first three fields we
have set up in Azaiba.
The word is out and we
never expected this much
excitement at this stage
of the launch!”
Open daily from 3pm to
9pm, the fields will
operate on a first come,
first serve basis, and
will be open to anyone
between the ages of 10
and 45. Potential
sponsors will be
delighted to hear that
the eye catching fields
also offer up
advertising space with 4
spaces of 3.5 m x 1 m
available on each field.
To celebrate the launch
of the fantastic new
fields, Windmaster will
be offering 15 minute
sessions on their new
inflatable fields free
of charge to teams until
the 15th of December
2007. Due to soaring
popularity, the fields
will be available to
teams at a minimal
charge of RO 6 per team
per half hour after this
date.
Football is clearly
emerging as the
favourite sport within
the Sultanate, and
thanks to companies such
as Windmaster, these new
additions come at just
the right time as
football fans across
Oman now have a clearly
defined, safe and
exciting new lease on
their favourite sport.
